Iñaki López de Viñaspre

Iñaki grew up in the kitchen alongside his Basque grandmother, learning the importance of quality produce and tradition. His studies in Food Anthropology shaped an approach that blends technique, culture, and gastronomic memory.

In 1994, with his brother Mikel, he opened a pioneering Pintxos bar in Barcelona — the start of Sagardi Group. Today, the group operates 27 restaurants across five countries, all guided by honest produce, trusted producers, and respect for tradition.

In 2024, he was named a UN Ambassador for Gastronomic Tourism. He also co-founded Meat & Fire, the international fire-cooking festival, now in its fourth edition and expanding to Buenos Aires.
