Oriol Ivern
Oriol Ivern began his culinary training at Cambrils School of Hospitality in 1989, combining his studies with weekend work at La Moixaina, a traditional Catalan restaurant in his hometown.
His career took him through some of Europe's finest kitchens: stages at Jaume de Provença and Raco de Can Fabes in Spain, followed by roles at Beau Rivage Palace in Switzerland, Neichel in Barcelona, Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons in the UK, and Chez Nico in London — a three-Michelin-starred restaurant.
In 2001, he opened Hisop in Barcelona, which earned a Michelin star in 2010 and a Repsol Sun in 2009. His talent has been recognized with awards including Best Young Chef by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy (2007), Identitá Golose in Italy (2011), and the Grand Prix Le Fooding in Paris (2004).
