Rafa de Bedoya
Aleia
Rafa de Bedoya is an Andalusian chef whose passion for cooking ignited in childhood, growing up in a hospitality family alongside his brothers. He trained in the Basque Country and specialized in French cuisine, working in top Spanish restaurants.
In December 2021, he opened Aleia in Barcelona, blending Andalusian flavors with Mediterranean ingredients. The restaurant earned its first Michelin Star in 2022 and its second in 2025, cementing his international reputation. Rafa has also been featured in The Best Chef Awards and OAD's top European restaurants list.
