Grupo Tragaluz

Tomás Tarruella is an entrepreneur, restaurateur, and co-founder of Grupo Tragaluz, one of Spain's most influential hospitality groups. For more than three decades, he has championed a vision where cuisine, design, architecture, service, and guest experience come together to create spaces with a distinctive identity and unmistakable character.

Today, Grupo Tragaluz operates 24 restaurants across Barcelona, Madrid, Mallorca, and the Costa Brava, including iconic venues such as Tragaluz, Bar Tomate, Fiskebar, Pez Vela, and El Japonés. Each restaurant presents its own gastronomic and aesthetic identity, all sharing the same philosophy: exceptional ingredients, thoughtful design, warm hospitality, and spaces conceived to be enjoyed well beyond the dining table.
