Dos Palillos Group

Albert Raurich, born in Barcelona in 1970, is a Michelin-starred chef and one of the most influential figures in contemporary Spanish gastronomy.

After training at Barcelona's School of Hospitality, he joined elBulli in 1997, rising to head chef in 2001 and spending eleven years at the legendary restaurant. In 2008, he opened Dos Palillos, a pioneering restaurant blending Spanish tapas with Asian cuisines, which earned its first Michelin star in 2012.

He now leads Grup Dos Palillos, which includes Dos Palillos, Dos Pebrots (a Mediterranean roots project), Sake Bar de Tamae, and AÜC Bar. He is also the author of Dos Palillos: un diálogo gastronómico con Japón y Asia and co-directs Bullipedia's Japanese cuisine research project.
