Albert Adrià
Chef Albert Adrià is a culinary innovator who began his career at elBulli in 1985, where he revolutionized pastry. After co-authoring The Desserts of elBulli (1998) and leading the restaurant's R&D lab, he pioneered the "gastrobar" movement with Inopia Classic Bar in 2006.
In 2010, he launched the elBarri group, creating a portfolio of acclaimed restaurants including Tickets, Pakta, Bodega 1900, and Enigma. His influence spans globally with projects like Mercado Little Spain (with José Andrés) and Cakes & Bubbles in London.
Since refocusing on Enigma in 2022, he has regained a Michelin star, earned a second Repsol Sun, and been named the world's 2nd best chef (2023–2024). In 2025, Enigma was awarded its second Michelin star, cementing his legacy as one of Spain's most visionary chefs.
