Cafe SlowMov
SlowMov is a cozy specialty coffee roaster and café in Barcelona's Gràcia neighbourhood, founded in 2015 by François Justet and Carmen Callizo. The name reflects their philosophy: things are done better when you respect the time each step needs.
The team travels to origin to select single-origin coffees from countries like Brazil, Ethiopia, and Mexico, roasting them in Barcelona. The café serves meticulously brewed coffee, delicious Nordic-inspired pastries (including cardamom buns), and quality toasts. Since 2018, their packaging has been 100% compostable.
SlowMov has a "no WiFi, no computers" policy, encouraging genuine connection. It's considered one of the best spots for specialty coffee in the city.
